Terms of Service

Effective April 2026 · Adherence Digital Ltd · Company No. 08847581

Please read these terms carefully before purchasing or using FairWork Ready. By completing a purchase, you agree to be bound by them.

The service

FairWork Ready is a document generation service operated by Adherence Digital Ltd (Company No. 08847581, VAT No. GB179843158), trading as FairWork Ready. The Service produces customised employment compliance document templates based on information you provide in the intake form. Documents are delivered by email as PDF files following successful payment.

Refund policy

The compliance pack is a digital product. Once your documents have been downloaded or accessed, your purchase is non-refundable, as the product is immediately consumed upon delivery.

If you have completed payment but have not yet downloaded or accessed your documents, you are entitled to a full refund within 30 days of purchase. To request a refund under these circumstances, contact us at hello@fairworkready.com with your order reference.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this refund policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Pricing and VAT

The compliance pack is priced at £99 (net) plus UK VAT at 20%, for a total of £118.80 for UK customers. VAT is calculated and displayed at checkout based on your billing address. Adherence Digital Ltd is registered for VAT in the United Kingdom (VAT No. GB179843158) and issues VAT invoices via Stripe on purchase.

Not legal advice

Plain language

FairWork Ready is not a law firm. The documents produced by the Service are templates, not legal advice. We are not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority or any other legal regulatory body.

The compliance pack is designed to help UK SME employers produce employment documentation that reflects the Employment Rights Act 2025 and Fair Work Agency requirements as understood at the date of publication. However:

  • The documents do not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as such.
  • No solicitor-client relationship is created by purchasing or using the Service.
  • For complex employment matters — including TUPE transfers, redundancy programmes, disciplinary proceedings, or employment tribunal defence — you should consult a qualified employment solicitor.
  • Employment law changes frequently. While template refreshes are available on request during the 12-month period following purchase, you remain responsible for ensuring documents are appropriate for your specific circumstances and for obtaining professional advice where relevant.

No implied warranty of fitness

The Service and the documents it produces are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Adherence Digital Ltd excludes all implied warranties, including any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose beyond what is expressly stated in these terms.

We do not warrant that the documents will be suitable for every employer's specific situation, or that compliance with the documents will guarantee a successful outcome in any FWA inspection or employment tribunal.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Adherence Digital Ltd's total aggregate liability to you in connection with the Service — whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, misrepresentation, or otherwise — is limited to the greater of (a) £500 or (b) the total amount paid by you for the Service. For the avoidance of doubt, this cap applies regardless of how the liability arises, including any refresh failures, template errors, or omissions.

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, loss of anticipated savings, wasted management time, or regulatory penalties or fines of any kind (including any penalties imposed by the Fair Work Agency, HMRC, a tribunal, or any other regulator).

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for: (i) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (iii) any liability which cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under applicable law (including, where relevant, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015).

It is your responsibility to review and, where appropriate, take independent professional legal or HR advice on the suitability of the documents for your specific business before adopting them. Adoption of the documents is at your sole risk.

Document updates

Purchases include access to template refreshes for 12 months from the date of purchase. Refreshes are issued on a reasonable-endeavours basis when (a) statutory rate changes announced by HMRC, or (b) amendments to primary employment legislation materially affect the substantive wording of the templates in the pack.

The following are not covered by the refresh period: case law developments, ACAS guidance, HMRC interpretive guidance, secondary regulations, industry codes of practice, or any change which Adherence Digital Ltd, acting reasonably, determines to be immaterial.

Refreshes are made available by email on request to hello@fairworkready.com. Adherence Digital Ltd does not commit to proactive delivery, service-level timelines, or any specific monitoring of UK employment law. It is your responsibility to request refreshes and to verify the continued suitability of the documents for your circumstances, including obtaining professional legal or HR advice where appropriate.

You accept that UK employment law changes frequently and that the refresh period covers only the narrow scope set out above. We are not responsible for monitoring UK employment law on your behalf, nor for advising you when changes occur that fall outside the refresh scope. You remain solely responsible for ensuring the documents are appropriate for your specific business and for obtaining any professional advice required by your circumstances.

The 12-month refresh period does not create a subscription, an ongoing advisory relationship, or any form of compliance warranty. The pack remains a one-off template purchase. After 12 months, refreshes are no longer available under the original purchase.

Intellectual property

The template structures, formatting, and service content are the intellectual property of Adherence Digital Ltd. Your customised documents — populated with your company information — are yours to use within your business. You may not resell or redistribute the document templates.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
